Scholarship Program
In Haiti, approximately 90% of schools function as private institutions. With more than half of the population living on less than $2 per day, families face immense challenges in affording the annual tuition fees for their children. Even if students manage to attend school, they encounter additional financial hurdles. The scarcity of educational materials and school supplies further compounds the difficulties faced by students in Haiti. Your generous donation will play a pivotal role in ensuring that these students receive the necessary support to pursue their education.
Meal Program
Haiti is currently facing an unprecedented level of food insecurity on a global scale, with the number of food-insecure individuals tripling since 2016. Shockingly, approximately 4.35 million Haitians, nearly half of the population, are deprived of access to a sufficient food supply, while 1.4 million are currently in the throes of emergency-level food insecurity. Solar Panel Project
In Haiti, a mere 38.5% of the population officially has access to electricity, with estimates suggesting that the coverage may be higher when accounting for irregular connections. Tragically, students are compelled to rely on oil lamps for studying at night, posing significant health risks to both children and parents. Your generous donation can make a tangible difference by enabling us to replace these hazardous oil lamps with portable solar light bulb systems, providing essential lighting solutions to families in need and safeguarding their well-being.
